This is our first make-up test for Thorin. I have nothing for his costume yet apart from that shirt, but we decided to make a mini-shoot using what we had, taking reference from the end of the first chapter in the book, where Bilbo can hear Thorin still singing "The Song of the Lonely Mountain" in the guest bedroom after he has gone to bed.

Hello, my name is Lydia and I am part of a new group of Italian cosplayers dedicated to the world of Tolkien: The Fourth Age.

This year at Lucca Comics & Games (31 October-3 November), the most important Italian exhibition, we are organizing ourselves to bring a mixed group Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit for all 4 days with scenes creating the atmosphere of the world Tolkien.
We would like to involve in this project and most cosplayers possible so we invited to participate cosplayer foreigners who want to join us in this mission;)
